Sharing the books I read in March and whether I recommend adding them to your collection!
Hi friends! Are you OK? I hope you have a good morning! I’m taking barre lessons today and looking forward to getting calls from clients in the afternoon.
(I’m wary of posting this photo because it’s not very flattering. But, apparently this is what my legs look like in the sun, so I’m going to do it.)
For today’s post, I want to share the books I read in March. This has been a less reading month for me, but still has some great photos! I’d love to hear what you’ve read recently and enjoyed if you’d like to share it in the comments section.

$100 million in potential customers
I’m a huge fan of Alex Hormoz. His recipes on Instagram are kind of gross, but from a coaching/teaching/entrepreneur perspective, I love his teaching style and think he puts a lot of value in the book. Since I loved the $100 million offer, I downloaded this one on Audible. This is an easy-to-read article with lots of tips on growing your email list, building content, and how to target Facebook ads. I don’t spend a lot of money on Facebook ads, but it’s something I want to explore this year. 9/10

winter garden
This is my second Christine Hannah novel nightingale. Beautifully written, and as someone with next to zero knowledge of Russia’s involvement in WWII, it was an eye-opener for me. I know I will be shocked when it ends and it will bring tears to my eyes. 10/10
From Amazon:
Meredith Whitson and Nina Whitson are very different sisters. One stayed home to raise the children and manage the family apple orchard; the other stayed at home to care for the children. The other follows his dream to travel around the world and become a famous photojournalist. But when their beloved father falls ill, Meredith and Nina find themselves together again, beside their cold, disapproving mother, Anya, who now offers her daughters no comfort. As children, the only connection between them was the Russian fairy tales Anya sometimes told the girls at night. On his deathbed, their father made a promise to the women in his life: that this fairy tale would be told one last time—and to the end. Thus begins an unexpected journey to learn the truth about Anya’s life in war-torn Leningrad more than fifty years ago. Alternating between past and present, Meredith and Nina will eventually hear the strange and tragic story of their mother’s life, and what they learn is a secret so horrific that it will shake their family to its foundation and change People they believe in. yes.
real comfort
A good friend of mine loves this cookbook and has tried many of the recipes. I’ve tried a few things from the book and so far I’m impressed. I can’t give it a full review – I need to try more recipes! – but I wanted to include it in case you are looking for some healthy meals.
From Amazon:
Over the past few years, Kristin Cavallari has become known for the healthy recipes she cooks at home for her family. In her best-selling cookbook, True Roots, she shares the recipes that keep her motivated and inspired, challenging fans to cook more at home and live a healthier lifestyle.
Now, in “Real Comfort,” Kristen turns her attention to some of the most popular but hardest-to-find dishes: healthy comfort food. True Comfort offers her favorite comfort breakfast recipes (Apple-Pecan Dutch Baby, Espresso Overnight Oats, and Sweet Potato Toast), Lunch (Roasted Cauliflower Tarte Tatin, Nashville Hot Chicken Salad Cups, Butternut Squash and Chive Hash), and Dinner (red wine, braised pork ribs, oatmeal chicken pot pie, and saffron seafood soup) plus dessert (orange olive oil cake and dark chocolate peppermint cake) and drinks (cashew eggnog and rosemary charcoal latte) ). This book goes beyond the traditional cookbook to provide tips and tricks on how to assemble a well-stocked pantry, refrigerator, and freezer, helping readers feel more like Christine in the kitchen.
Open Your Eyes: Ease the Pain of Dry Eye Syndrome
I read this book quickly on my Kindle – it’s very short – because I wanted to gain more insight and knowledge about eye treatments to store in my brain about this condition. It’s about 99% anecdotal and nothing groundbreaking. I think this book on healing allergies naturally and this book on healing dry eye are more helpful. 2/10
From Amazon:
This book is written by a long-term sufferer of dry eye syndrome and a naturopathic doctor who helped him find the right solution to relieve his pain. The author discusses the agony of irritation and pain associated with dry eye syndrome and how the condition prevents him from enjoying life. The condition got worse, resulting in two corneal ulcers; countless visits to the eye doctor; and endless use of drops and other treatments that never worked. Traditional treatments failed to provide real relief from his dry eye syndrome, prompting a years-long search for a way to give him his life back.
This book was written to help all those suffering from this painful, frustrating and debilitating disease and to give them hope and encouragement to find their own solutions. This book covers some of the causes of dry eye; the author’s search for a treatment that doesn’t require prescription drugs or surgery; nine foods that may trigger dry eye; four “must have” foods that can help relieve the condition. Miracle Foods; and a list of supplements the author uses to prevent the recurrence of dry eye syndrome. A condition called blepharitis is also discussed; how does it cause dry eyes? and what steps the author took to treat it. This book is a must-read for anyone suffering from dry eye syndrome.
Well, tell me, friend: What did you read last month? Have you read 10/10 lately? Welcome to share your love in the message area!
