Friday Favorites 3.29 – Fitness Guru

Hi friends! Happy Friday! How was your week? Our experience has been a whirlwind but so much fun.

I attended the choir performance last Friday, drove Liv to Phoenix early Saturday morning for her dance competition, spent the night, the pilot and IP drove up, and I rushed home for Sunday’s performance while they stayed Participated in the dance competition on the second day in Phoenix,

Early Monday morning, I caught a shuttle from Tucson to Phoenix, they picked me up at the airport, and we drove to Anaheim to spend a few days at Disney and then on to San Diego for a few days. After a super fun adventure and spring break, we are finally home!

It felt so good to sleep in our bed last night and I’m looking forward to a low-key Easter weekend with the family. I’d love to hear what you’ve been up to lately!

Our favorite weekly Friday party is here! Here I’m sharing some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so shout out your favorites in the comments section below.

Friday Favorites 3.29

Chinese New Year holiday:

Some photos from our Disney and San Diego adventure:

We had our usual Goofy’s Kitchen dinner (such a delicious and fun way to start our trip!)

And my best girls:

These kids band together. At 1am we closed Disneyland and headed back to the hotel. Then we continued to sleep until 10am the next day haha.

This dreamy vegan ice cream comes from Moniker/Craft Creamery in Point Loma:

(I loved it so much I ordered 8 pints online. It’s organic soy ice cream, and while the ingredients aren’t the best I’ve ever seen, it’s ice cream. If you want to treat yourself, you can find the ice cream shop here link!)

Beach Times in Coronado:

Always the best drink ever, semi-sweet:

And the best poke we’ve had in San Diego, from It’s Raw in Point Loma:

We also had a great OB Noodle House takeout dinner at Betsy’s house with the Kleiger family.

This was a perfect trip!

Read, watch, listen:

Still loving this book and totally hooked. This is probably my second favorite book of hers, after nightingale. The writing is beautiful and the story is fascinating; a must-read if you like historical novels.

What are your five most rewatchable movies?

Hope and encouragement in difficult times.

Fitness, health + food:

Dr. Cabral’s 21 Day Detox Review and Recipes

EquiLife is having a Founders Sale right now and you can add my code FITNESSISTA10 to the current offer (products only; it does not apply to labs as they are heavily discounted during the sale)

Here are some I recommend:

– 7 days detox. It’s perfect for a little “spring cleaning” and a great way to help eliminate toxins and restore deficiencies while giving your liver a little extra love. This was my introduction to EquiLife (and my IHP certification), and I’ve been a fan ever since. My clients have had incredible success with this detox as well!

– Universal Binder! I like to drink this before a sauna, hot yoga, or eating something I wouldn’t normally eat (like alcohol or fried foods).

– Full Spectrum Magnesium. I take this every night and sleep like a baby 🙂 It is very important to use a balanced magnesium that contains different forms. They all have different purposes and work together.

– Daily nutritional support. I eat this every day as a protein pudding (mixed with some Truvani or NOW Foods protein), oatmeal, or in a smoothie. It’s packed with vitamins and nutrients, making it a great daily multivitamin.

– The best weighted blanket. It’s very comfortable and also helps protect against electromagnetic fields.

– Top 5 Lab and Starter Kit Discounts. This is the only time the five major labs are discounting together. You can purchase labs through these links, if you would like me to review the labs with you, please email me (gina@fitnessista.com Topic Labs) before ordering. I can provide you with my energy platform, coaching calls, and make sure I can track your results.

Deviled Egg Potato Salad.

Easter recipe ideas!

Fashion + Beauty:

Beautycounter clean fragrance is here. This launch has been 10 years in the making and they didn’t want to launch a fragrance before they could get it right. For Beautycounter, that means using the cleanest ingredients possible and rigorous safety testing. The new scent is so beautiful, so different(!) and has excellent staying power. Get a Discovery Bundle for $40 and you can try them all!

Happy Friday, friends! Have a great weekend and see you soon!

XOXO
