Friday Favorites 2.23 – Fitness Guru

Hi friends! Happy Friday! What are you going to do this weekend? The kids are attending a rodeo – it’s an Arizona thing! – so we’re enjoying sleeping in, fun adventures, and no homework (bless it). I’d love to hear what happened to you!

I’m on my fifth day of the CBO protocol and it’s going well. It’s hard to live without garlic and onions, but in addition to supplements, I make so many amazing veggie and protein-packed meals. I’ll be sharing my healing journey in an upcoming post; if you have any questions you’d like me to answer, lmk in the comments!

Our favorite weekly Friday party is here! This is where I share my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so shout out your favorites in the comments section below.

Friday Favorites 2.23

Random/life:

Take a vacation to San Diego. The pilot and I spent a little over 24 hours at one of our favorite places to celebrate our good friend Jeremy’s 50th birthday. We have been friends with Betsy and Jeremy since Liv was in preschool and they are like family. We traveled extensively with them and often met in different places. We fly to San Diego on Saturday morning

Then go straight to Liberty Station. We shopped, walked and had a delicious lunch at Tender Greens. We hung out at the hotel and then got ready to party!

(While we were getting ready, we watched the John Mulaney special on Netflix. It was such a treat to watch TV together during the day.)

The party was great, as expected. Betsy’s always has the best decor and incredible food. Chef Ron and his team prepare all the food in the kitchen, and they have a bartender on the patio mixing up signature cocktails and drinks.

(I did a poll on IG to see if the pilot should shave his beard. Over 300 people said yes, while about 16 said he should keep it. Those 16 people were enough to tell him to keep it haha)

It was a late, super fun night, and I somehow managed to drag my booty out of bed and head to Define for Sunday’s Lagree class.

If you’re in San Diego, take Carina’s class! We used to teach barre together when we lived in SD and she was so fun and motivating. I love seeing her face and visiting her gorgeous studio whenever we are in town!

We had breakfast at Liberty Station—we never left Point Loma—and then headed to the airport to return to the crew. It’s crazy how just one night can make you feel like a different person again and refreshed.

Admitting your weaknesses can actually make you stronger.

Fashion + Beauty:

The super exciting Beautycounter launches next week. I haven’t been posting much about Beautycounter lately because I’m not that excited about the new products. I’ve been waiting for years for this to be a good thing.

It feels like spring this week, so of course I’ll be focusing on some spring finds. I haven’t been a big fan of the RTR selection lately, so I might take a break from it for a while and buy the real deal 😉

Here are some things I focus on:

This midi dress

This short pajamas

Pair this dress with sandals or for a date night

These heart shaped earrings

these berks

These ballet flats

This square neck swimsuit

Fitness, Health and Food:

New rebounder! I’ve been wanting one to help support my lymphatic system for a while and found this cheap product on Amazon. It’s very easy to set up and it’s fun to play music and jump around for 5-10 minutes. As expected, it was a huge hit with the kids too.

The best gluten free brownies you need to try.

I appreciate this bit of science, especially since women often get the short end of the stick when it comes to these things.

Happy Friday, friends!
XOXO
