The most comfortable coffee drink! This lavender latte is made with espresso (milk of your choice) and sweetened with lavender simple syrup that’s quick and easy to make.
Why I love this recipe
Warm, grounding, and deeply comforting, this latte is perfect for slow mornings or when you just need a quiet moment.
I’m a huge tea drinker, but I also love afternoon tea lattes. I really like the taste of coffee. More importantly, I love the unforgettable aroma of coffee. A latte around 2pm is just what I need for the rest of the workday. I also love having a latte on a cozy weekend while curled up with a good book!
Add culinary dried lavender to your latte (or any recipe for that matter) and it tastes and smells amazing. There’s something really comforting about recipes calling for lavender. Like this latte – SO. Comfortable.
You can make this recipe with regular milk or any non-dairy milk, depending on your preference. Any milk you choose should, when frothed, provide that creamy, smooth texture we know and love from lattes. Although my personal favorites are regular milk and oat milk!
Enjoy the last few weeks of winter and welcome spring with this cozy latte! Floral scents always remind me of spring temperatures and flowers. Get excited!
