How to keep your home hygienic — Estée Lalonde

Summer is coming to an end (*sobs), which means shorter days, longer nights, and more time spent at home. For many of us, the transition between seasons can be a bit contradictory. On the one hand, we grieve for those long summer days spent in the sun, with delicious food and drink, with those closest to us. But on the other hand, I personally look forward to rainy days spent indoors, sipping my favorite tea and snuggling on the sofa with Effie. Can you relate?

I heard this Danish word hygge and it makes me really excited for fall and getting my space ready for September. Hygge is an emotion that evokes a feeling of comfort. This is meant to create a warm atmosphere that will make you feel safe and content, which is the perfect atmosphere for fall!

With that in mind, here are some of my tips on how to get hygge in our home this fall: including my picks of homewares, home fragrances, and some delicious treats!
