We all go through periods of skin irritation of varying lengths and lengths – we’re all human. Whether it’s hormonal or due to external factors; stress, pollution or even overuse of products. Personally, I deal with hormonal skin and it’s really frustrating. I think back and laugh at some of the hilarious home remedies I tried, like toothpaste, acid, and when that failed, going into attack mode and scratching the skin – we’ve all been there. !
But after trying and testing a range of products, I finally found one that works for me and wanted to share some of my knowledge. I think what really works is going back to the basics – drinking lots of water and keeping your skin care simple. We all feel weirdly stressed when we don’t follow a 10-step skincare routine for the day and night, but sometimes less is more. I only start adding steps to my routine when I need to address something, like acne, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, peeling, or severe dryness or oiliness.
