It was fun creating this content: Drink This/Not That Starbucks Holiday Coffee! Oh yes, this is one of my favorite topics to discuss!
If you love Starbucks but don’t like all the calories and sugar in their holiday drinks, be sure to watch my recent YouTube video and save this blog post for future reference. It helps when you’re discussing drinking this/not that Starbucks holiday coffee!
Drink This/Don’t Drink That Starbucks Holiday Coffee Edition
Pumpkin Spice Latte > Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino or Pumpkin Spice Misto
Ask for a cappuccino or misto with two pumps of pumpkin spice syrup. The foam in a cappuccino has fewer calories than whipped cream + two pumps of syrup is less than the usual four pumps in a latte.
Creme Brulee Latte > Iced or Hot Americano with 2 pumps of Creme Brulee Syrup
Ask for an Americano with a pump or two of creme brulee syrup. You can make it dark and take it to the milk bar with a little cream or milk, or ask a barista to make it at the bar.
If you want it to look fancy, ask for some foam on top, which the barista usually does.
Rock Sugar Cookie Latte > Rock Sugar Cookie Latte with half syrup and no cream
This one is on the menu; if you eat the large one, it’s 140 calories. If you want to make it really low calorie, you can ask to make it with half the amount of syrup or a pump of syrup. Ask for it to be black, then go to the milk bar and add a little half and half.
Peppermint Mocha > Americano with 1 pump of mocha + 1 pump of mint syrup
You can have it without whipped cream or with light cream. Another option is to ask for the froth; ask for steamed milk with a little froth. You can also add festive sprinkles or some cocoa powder on top.
